Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and username. When you build a resume, we store the resume data you enter (work experience, education, skills, etc.) on our servers so you can access it from any device.

We also collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) to operate and improve the service. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the QuickResume service
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure
• To generate, store, and export your resumes
• To power AI-assisted resume building features
• To send transactional emails (e.g. email verification, password reset)
• To monitor service health and fix bugs

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Supabase. Files (such as profile pictures and exported PDFs) are stored in an S3-compatible object store. We use HTTPS for all data in transit and enforce authentication on all protected endpoints.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no system is 100% secure. Please use a strong, unique password and enable two-factor authentication.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate QuickResume:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting
• Railway — application infrastructure
• Razorpay — payment processing (billing plans)
• Anthropic / OpenAI / Google / Groq — AI features (resume suggestions, chatbot)

Each provider has its own privacy policy governing the data they process.

5. Cookies

We use an HTTP-only session cookie set by Supabase Auth to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Your Rights

You can at any time:

• Export or download your resume data from the dashboard
• Delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Danger Zone
• Request a copy of your personal data by contacting us

7. Children's Privacy

QuickResume is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users by email for material changes. Continued use of QuickResume after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
