1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using QuickResume ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

QuickResume is an open-source resume builder that allows users to create, edit, export, and share resumes. The Service includes AI-assisted writing features, a chatbot assistant, multiple resume templates, and PDF export.

QuickResume is not a completely free service. A free tier is available with a limit of one (1) resume download per week. Additional downloads, higher AI usage, and advanced features require a paid subscription plan.

Plan limits, pricing, and included features may change over time. We will notify registered users of material changes to paid plan terms.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You may not share your account or use it on behalf of others without consent.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the resume content you create. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You are solely responsible for the content you enter. Do not include false, defamatory, or illegal information in your resumes.

5. AI Features

QuickResume uses third-party AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, Groq) to power resume suggestions and the chatbot assistant. By using AI features, you acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete.
• You should review and verify all AI suggestions before using them.
• Your prompts and resume content may be sent to the AI provider to generate responses.

6. Free Plan Limits

The free plan entitles you to one (1) resume download per calendar week. This limit resets every week. Attempting to circumvent the limit (e.g. by creating multiple accounts) is a violation of these Terms and may result in account termination.

Features available on the free plan may be modified at any time. We will provide reasonable notice before reducing free-tier entitlements for existing users.

7. Payments & Subscriptions

Paid plans unlock additional resume downloads, higher AI usage quotas, and advanced features. Paid plans are billed through Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the selected plan fee on the agreed billing cycle. All fees are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to paid features until then.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API
• Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the Service
• Impersonate other users or create fake accounts
• Use automated tools to generate resumes at scale without authorization

9. Intellectual Property

QuickResume is open-source software released under the MIT License. The brand name, logo, and design are the property of Ravcone. Resume templates included with the Service may not be resold or redistributed separately.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that resumes generated will result in employment outcomes.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ravcone shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data or missed employment opportunities.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.
